Eco-School

INTERNATIONAL

The Eco-Schools program is the world’s largest educational program for sustainable development, reaching millions of students in more than 70 countries. Eden Green Flag recognition reflects the integration of environmental education into the school curriculum—from lessons on ecology and seasonal harvesting to the school’s approach to waste management, energy, and outdoor learning. The flag is renewed through ongoing assessment and student-led environmental initiatives.

Lab-school

EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION

The Lab-School designation recognizes schools that function as active laboratories for educational research and innovation. At Ecole Eden, this means that teaching practices are continually evaluated, tested, and refined—not simply applied. Teachers engage in ongoing professional development, new approaches are introduced and evaluated, and the school’s pedagogy evolves in response to evidence rather than convention.

Swiss School Award - Finalist

NATIONAL - SWITZERLAND

The Swiss Award is a national honor bestowed upon institutions that demonstrate exceptional standards in their field. For Ecole Eden, this recognition reflects the school’s overall commitment to quality—in its facilities, teaching, multilingual program, and approach to child development. It is a recognition not of a single project, but of the school as a whole.

Swiss School Impulse

Since 2023, École Eden has been firmly committed to the Swiss School Impulse quality label, for which it has received certification. This commitment is reflected in a number of actions, including a management system with a long-term vision for the school, the implementation and monitoring of school objectives, the introduction of internal procedures, and ongoing team training.

The logo of Swiss School Impulse features five stylized figures representing students, one of whom is wearing a graduation cap, along with the text "Swiss School Impulse" and a Swiss cross symbol inside the "O" in "School."

Quality is a practice,
not a certificate.

— OUR APPROACH TO QUALITY

Ongoing self-assessment

Eden regularly evaluates its own practices by comparing them to internal and external benchmarks. Teaching approaches, learning outcomes, and the children’s well-being are monitored and discussed at the team level throughout the year.

Teacher Development

All Eden teachers receive ongoing professional development. This training is based on the latest advances in neuroscience and developmental psychology, as well as best practices in multilingual education.

Partnership with Parents

Eden actively encourages families to get involved in school life. Communication between parents, teachers, and children is structured, regular, and transparent—forming a true partnership in each child’s development.
