AN ENVIRONMENT DESIGNED FOR THE EARLY YEARS

Just a stone's throw from the center of Geneva, the Frontenex campus welcomes children aged 3 to 6 in a bright, human-sized space designed to foster emotional security, curiosity and the freedom to explore.

Here, every detail has been thought out so that children can grow up in confidence, with clear points of reference, available adults and a rhythm that respects their needs.

Differentiation from age 3: an essential foundation for confidence

The younger the children, the more different their rhythms, needs and ways of learning. That's why our teams are constantly adapting activities, approaches and expectations to enable each child to experience successes that are meaningful to them.

This sense of personal achievement, repeated on a daily basis, is the foundation of self-confidence. And this confidence gradually becomes the driving force behind all future learning.

Learning by making mistakes, learning from mistakes

At Ecole Eden, mistakes are never a fault: they're a starting point. From the earliest years, we cultivate in children the right to try, the right to make mistakes, the right to try again.

Our teachers work with children to ensure that every difficulty becomes a lively, stimulating and rewarding learning experience.

From manipulation to conceptualization

Fundamental learning is rooted in concrete experience. At Eden, everything begins with gesture, manipulation and sensory exploration.

This natural progression from experience to thought enables in-depth understanding that lasts over time. Children don't learn for school; they learn to act, understand and create.

Music, a powerful ally for global development

Every day, the children take part in music workshops led by a professional musician. Music stimulates the same areas of the brain as language, memory, attention and coordination.

It enhances concentration, fine motor skills, a sense of rhythm and group work. In music, children never fail. They play, explore and dare.

Move to build: body awareness and fine motor skills

Through a daily dance workshop inspired by African dance movements, led by a dancer and psychomotor therapist, children develop an awareness of their own bodies, and then of their place among others.

This work supports gross motor skills, refines fine motor skills and reinforces the body anchorage essential to all learning.

Connect with nature to better understand and protect it

Children learn about the cycle of nature, what it has to offer, what it teaches... and the responsibility of preserving it.

Observing the seasons, sorting, sowing and harvesting: all gestures that awaken ecological awareness and respect for living things.

Academic learning that makes sense through projects

Between the ages of 3 and 6, the academic foundations are gradually integrated, rigorously but seamlessly. Reading, language, numbering, spatial and temporal references take their place in concrete projects.

Knowledge is grafted on through experience: children discover letters, sounds, the pleasures of reading, numbers to measure, time to organize. They learn because they understand.

Learning to live together: emotions and communication

From an early age, children learn to identify and express their own emotions, to listen to those of others, and to regulate conflicts with respect.

They discover that everyone can feel differently, at the same time, when faced with the same situation. They develop empathy, listening skills and collective awareness.

A place to grow, understand and dare, from an early age

Everything we do has a single aim: to enable each child to develop while respecting themselves and others.

Learn to express their needs. To cooperate without criticism or judgment. To seek together without imposing. To understand that there isn't just one truth, but multiple points of view.

This is how autonomy, confidence, thought and a bond with others are born. This is how, from the age of 3, school becomes a living space where we learn to become ourselves, with and among others.
